Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming Calls on Nepal’s Prime Minister Balendra Shah

On August 10, 2026, H.E. AmbassadorZhang Maoming of China called on Rt. Hon. Prime MinisterBalendra Shah of Nepal. The two sides exchanged views on Nepal-Chinarelations, bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, and topics of shared interests.

Prime Minister Balendra stated that Nepal attaches great importance to Nepal-China traditional friendship. The Nepali side stands ready to work with China to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation across the broad so as to advance bilateral relations and better benefit the peopleof both countries.
