CEBSI Films scores multiple wins at International Film Festival Manhattan

CEBSI Films posted a major awards sweep at the International Film Festival Manhattan in New York City, with feature film Reskyu and limited series Una Sa Lahat earning top honors in 2026. The haul included directing, acting, ensemble and audience prizes, underscoring the company’s growing presence on the international stage.

Why it matters: - CEBSI Films added international recognition for both feature and episodic work at a major New York festival. - The wins strengthen the company’s visibility in global film and television markets. - The awards also highlight values-driven Filipino storytelling in front of an international audience.

Between the lines: - The awards suggest CEBSI Films is gaining traction with projects built around service, faith and sacrifice. - The repeat directing win for Malgapo Jr. signals continuity in the company’s creative leadership. - The mix of jury awards and audience recognition gives Reskyu a broader profile than a single-category win would have delivered.

What's next: - CEBSI Films is likely to use the Manhattan recognition to build momentum for future festival runs and distribution conversations. - The Grammy® consideration for Una Sa Lahat’s music video could extend the project’s reach beyond film-festival audiences. - The company’s next releases will likely be measured against the visibility it just gained in New York.
